School Closure Announcement

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that 2024-2025 was GCK’s last operational year, and we are now permanently closed. Despite our increased marketing and advertising efforts, we were not been able to reach an enrolment level that could sustain future operations.

For over 65 years, Glamorgan Community Kindergarten was a place where children came to learn, grow, and thrive, and where families created lasting memories. We are incredibly proud of the strong, vibrant community we built, and the positive impact we had in the lives of so many.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

What Parents Have Said

Allison B

“We applied to a competitive private school and knew we needed advancement to improve our chances of acceptance. We communicated our goals to GCK staff, and it was amazing to see the progress. When the interview came, we were immediately accepted into the private school and told our son was ahead of the curve. I can’t say enough good things about this kindergarten program–it is the best. The level of communication we receive each week is next level. I can’t say enough about this program!”

Paisley B

“This Kindergarten is absolutely fabulous! Small class sizes, coupled with teachers who really care and go the extra mile, make this the best kindergarten in the city. The school does an outstanding job of organizing field trips and special events for the students to enhance the learning experience. Thank you, GCK, for providing such a wonderful place to learn and thrive. I know our daughter is now set up for a good experience when it’s time to move to grade one.”

Dayna C

“We were thrilled to find a Kindergarten like GCK. The kiddos benefit from small class sizes, amazing teachers and staff who care, and many wonderful opportunities and outings. The teachers have worked with our family to find the best ways for our child to learn. I could not be happier with the Kindergarten and cannot wait for my youngest to attend.”

“Glamorgan Kindergarten was my son’s first school experience as we didn’t put him in preschool. We couldn’t have asked for a better first school experience – small class (maximum 18) and a dedicated and caring staff. The space is bright, with an indoor gym and a playground nearby. My son still talks about some of the presentations and field trips they took!”
